When you agree with a hotel to host your corporate event at their location, they will ask you to sign a contract. That contract will govern all the activities that happen during your event, from beginning to end. It is very important for you to each line item in the contract to make sure that your event will run successfully. Unfortunately, the hotel’s idea of success may be different than yours. For instance, they may over book the room that you are renting. They may book a night time wedding at the end of the first day of your event, even though you have set up the room with your audio equipment, signage and seating that will be used during your second day.
